Welcome to Chickadee Kids Company, a family-owned toy and bookstore for kids ages 0-6. We specialize in toys that support children's development. We love finding unique products, ones you won’t find in a big box toy store. Our focus is on quality toys that will last your family for many years to come. Many of the toys and educational resources we carry are Montessori or Waldorf inspired. We also carry many name brands including Corolle, Hape, Learning Resources, Manhattan Toys, Peaceable Kingdom, Schleich, Tender Leaf Toys and more. 

All of the toys and books on our shelves are hand-picked by us – real parents who want quality toys that are not only fun to play with, but have educational value and support our childrens’ development. We don't place anything on our shelves that we wouldn't want our own children to play with. We believe in toys as tools for development and it's our goal to help parents to feel confident in the toys they are buying for their children. 

Our toy store is conveniently located in the Headon Forest neighbourhood in central Burlington (Upper Middle & Guelph Line). We have lots of parking available right outside our front doors.

Being a small, family-owned toy store our goal is to make your shopping experience easy and comfortable. Our staff are knowledgeable about all the toys, books and games we have in store. Whether you're a new parent looking for tools to support your child's learning or an aunt looking for a fun birthday gift for your niece or nephew, we'd love to help you find that just right toy!
